We are hiring a Pre-Sales Manager for a global logistics technology company that is transforming maritime and port-side logistics through cutting-edge SaaS solutions. This is a high-impact client-facing role that demands domain depth, excellent communication, and the ability to manage global stakeholders at the highest level.
Role Overview:
As the Pre-Sales Manager, you will act as a subject matter expert, working closely with internal sales and product teams to deliver product demonstrations, address client queries, and shape solutions tailored to the global maritime logistics industry. You will engage with senior stakeholders across shipping lines, port authorities, terminal operators, customs, and freight forwarders.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
Engage with global stakeholders such as:
Freight Forwarders
Port Authorities
Terminal Operators
Customs Officials
Shipping Lines
Understand client pain points and translate them into solution proposals and functional documents.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence product roadmap and customizations.
Prepare detailed functional and technical documentation to support sales efforts.
Provide timely responses to product-related queries during the sales cycle.
Travel globally for client meetings, demos, and trade events (as required).
Must-Have Qualifications
10–15 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Solution Consulting, or Enterprise Product Consulting within logistics tech, supply chain, or maritime domains.
Deep understanding of port-side operations – especially container terminals, shipping lines, customs, and international trade workflows.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to work closely with sales and product teams.
Experience preparing RFP/RFI responses, solution blueprints, and ROI justifications.
Strong documentation skills (Functional and Technical).
Preferred Candidate Background
Prior exposure to global markets (Middle East, SEA, Europe, or North America).
Indians working abroad in similar Pre-Sales or Solution Consulting roles who are planning to relocate back to India.
Experience working with or selling to companies like:
Adani Ports, DP World, PSA, APM Terminals, JSW Infrastructure, Essar Ports, L&T IDPL, etc.
Candidates from landside logistics backgrounds (e.g., warehousing, inland trucking) will not be considered.
