We are expanding our growth team and looking for an entrepreneurial Business Development Manager who can independently drive client acquisition, relationship building, and revenue growth.

Role Overview
This is a pure hunting + closing role focused on acquiring new recruitment mandates and building long-term client partnerships.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable owning the entire business development lifecycle — from prospecting to deal closure and onboarding new clients for recruitment and executive search engagements.

Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Revenue Growth
Identify and acquire new clients for Mid-Level, Senior-Level & Executive Search mandates
Generate leads through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, networking, referrals, and market mapping
Build strong relationships with Founders, HR Leaders, CXOs, and Hiring Managers
Pitch Varion Partners’ recruitment and executive search solutions
Convert prospects into long-term retained or contingent clients

End-to-End Sales Ownership
• Own the full sales cycle:
Prospecting
Outreach & meetings
Requirement qualification
Proposal discussions
Commercial negotiation
Deal closure
Client onboarding
• Work closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth mandate execution

Market Development
Develop target account strategies across industries
Build strategic partnerships and referral networks
Represent Varion Partners in industry events, networking forums, and leadership communities
Continuously track hiring trends and competitor landscape

Required Skills & Experience
4–10 years experience in B2B Sales / Recruitment Business Development / Executive Search Sales
Proven track record of acquiring recruitment or consulting clients
Strong experience in cold outreach, enterprise selling, and relationship-driven sales
Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
Excellent negotiation and closing skills
Self-driven, ownership mindset with hunter mentality
Experience selling recruitment, staffing, HR consulting, or professional services preferred

Ideal Candidate Profile
Comes from Recruitment Agency / Executive Search Firm / Staffing Industry
Comfortable with revenue targets and performance-driven environments
Strong professional network across HR or business leaders
Entrepreneurial mindset with high accountability
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
